Halff Celebrates 75th Anniversary
This year marks a big milestone as Halff celebrates 75 years of improving lives and communities. Founded in 1950 by Dr. Albert H. Halff, the firm has grown from its humble beginnings as a one-man firm into one of the nation’s largest infrastructure consulting firms. Under his leadership, Halff pioneered advancements in hydraulics, hydrology and floodplain management. Throughout its seven and a half decades, Halff has continued to carry on Dr. Halff’s legacy of unwavering commitment to excellence, people and the communities it serves.
HCI Updates
Volunteers from The Woodlands participated in a park cleanup with the Adopt-a-Path program that helps keep the space green!
HCI volunteers in the Richardson office packed snack bags for SoupMobile, which feeds needy children and people experiencing homelessness in Dallas.
Shreveport volunteers assisted at their local MATHCOUNTS event serving pizza and helping with grading and proctoring tests.
Teaming Together
Halff offices in Florida and Louisiana experienced a surprising winter wonderland and took full advantage of the snow to make countless snowmen.
One of Halff’s very own began her teaching journey at Arkansas State University. Natalie Rogers will be teaching her first semester of Engineering Hydrology at ASU. Her colleagues made sure to prep her for her first day by having her fill out a ‘Meet the Teacher’ form so her students could get to know her.
Little Rock employees had their second annual soup-off with nine different soups competing for the win.
